This is AGV’s traditional (read:not logo festooned) take on a bomber jacket, sans the shearling collar, and cut for riding.
It’s a beautiful piece at its price point, solid and without actually testing it, protective. Zipper quality is high. And the cut is generous, yet not billowy. But be warned, it is sized small. An extra-large frame takes a tripleXL size.
The jacket is very warm, as befits its inspiration as a traditional bomber. The jacket may be best deployed as a fall/winter/spring riding jacket, and used off the bike in winter months. As such, it will not work as a perfect, all-season, jacket. But is will serve a a great second, colder, weather jacket.
And it looks awesome. This is a classic jacket, with just a bit of Italian flair. The fabric on the stretch fabric around the waist and cuffs looks like it will wear well, a welcome feature. And the CE armor in the shoulder and elbow area is unobtrusive in appearance, and comfortable for off the bike wear. In other words, you can fit into a movie theater seat with the jacket on, and not feel like you are wearing a straight jacket.

The AGV Sport Bomber jacket does come with a foam back pad which can be upgraded. AGV recommends the Forcefield BackPad Insert in size “B-Small”, for a perfect fit.
